This unique hotel is the ancient palace designed by Rossellino, in the 15th Century that was Pope Pio XII Piccolomini summer residence. This building overlooks the famous thermal water basin that features a unique square where for 2000 years the hot thermal water has gushed at a temperature of 49 degree from a depth of 1000 metres.

Lobby is medium in size, very welcoming and charming. Everything in this place is authentic and very tasteful.

Rooms, all completely refurbished in 2009, are in perfect conditions. All rooms are bright and spacious, with wooden floors. Furniture is simple, but at the same time very stylish. Some decoupage chairs are really unique. Walls are decorated with hand paintings reproducing flowers and leafs.
