A very high standard property, ideally located at the centre of Edinburgh.There are fantastic spa facilities for those who want to relax a little more.

This hotel is a renovated Victorian hotel dating back to 1819. It was the first large purpose built hotel in Edinburgh and the exterior has remained largely unchanged, it is an imposing and grand 4 storey building. There are huge floor to ceiling windows on all floors at the front of the building.

The lobby is large and open plan in design, there is seating available.

The hotel restaurant combines the traditional listed features of the building with a contemporary element. The menu changes regularly but the cuisine overall is a blend of Scottish traditional foods and modern dishes from the continent.

As you would expect in a brand new luxury property the bedrooms are in immaculate condition. They are medium to large in size and are decorated in a very contemporary style and color schemes ranging from muted browns to zebra stripes! They are equipped with King Size beds, 42" flat screen tv's,complimentary broadband wifi access, tea and coffee making tools, luxury toiletries - for the ladies of course! and even a pillow menu so that you have no excuse for not getting a perfect nights sleep.
