A fantastic property offering its guests an unforgettable stay. Former visitors to the house include Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth II, Winston Churchill and Lord Mountbatten. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (DB 01/09)

A prominent mansion house that's been restored to its formal glory, set in its own landscaped gardens created by the famous landscape designer Capability Brown.

The lobby is grand and luxuriously decorated in traditional design, in keeping with the rest of hotel. This area incorporates a reception/concierge desk and a seating area.

The main restaurant is in the part of the Mansion House that was extensively remodelled in the early 20th century by the architects of the Ritz Hotel in London. It's exotic marble panel work and richly coloured fabrics are reminiscent of the Palace of Versailles. Alternatively the brasserie, designed by the distinguished 18th century architect Robert Adams, offers a more informal environment.
