Dar El Khamlia (Albergue)

Dar el Khamlia, guest house by the dunes of Erg Chebbi, Morocco desert, is located at 7 km to the village of Merzouga. In the little village of Khamlia there are a small shop and a school. Explore the desert's wonders by camel and, after a day spent under the sun with friends and local people, enjoy the fresh zephyr at the sunset. In the evening, the Gnawa's ritual music will accompany you for a journey in the Morocco magical traditions. Visits can be arranged to Berber homes to see how they live, watch them prepare bread, cous-cous or tagines, eat with them and drink Berber tea.
