In the heart of the historic and picturesque Harz town of Wernigerode lies the oldest hotel in Saxony Anhalt: The hotel and restaurant Weißer Hirsch (White Deer), which welcomes its guests since 1717. The historical half-timbered building blends into the backdrop of a medieval city with its marketplace. The Wernigerode family-run 4 star Ringhotel Weißer Hirsch has a popular restaurant, a bar, an extensive banqueting and meeting venue, 49 rooms and two suites, a sauna, two elevators, a guest computer with Internet access, wireless internet access throughout the building and an underground garage with parking deck.
