It is a 2-floor 19th century Polish palace. It was meticulously restored and converted into a new hotel making it the mainstay of Krakow tradition and the ancient Polish custom of boundless hospitality, combining elegance, discretion and culture with the art of feasting, enjoyment and merrymaking. The history of the buliding is very interesting. It was built in 1895. This palatial residence is a valuable relic of late 19th century architecture and art; the interiors feature rich polychromes on plafonds, architertural details and furnishings.
This historical palace-hotel is situated in the city centre, in the vicinity of the most important institutions, cultural and entertainment centres. This facilitates carrying out business affairs, getting to know the city treasures and seeing what's on offer by the castle walls near the Vistula river, as well as the varied and attractive cafe-bar life. The closeness of the former jewish district Kazimierz and the Old Town enables one to plan interesting trips and have a wonderful time face to face with history.
