The Herald Square Hotel in New York City, is a budget Hotel located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Positioned between 5th Ave. and Broadway, this boutique hotel is just around the corner from the Legendary Empire State Building, and is within easy walking distance of Madison Square Garden, Macy's Herald Square, and Times Square. Penn Station is also only a few minutes walk from the hotel. Formerly the original LIFE magazine building, this charming 9-story hotel with cherub-adorned entrance has been part of the enchanting cityscape of New York City for well over a century. New renovations have bestowed a 21st century functionality to the hotel, including wireless Internet, and flat screen TVs, yet the changes have not encroached the charm of the building's rich history. With turn of the century decor, every room is unique and different in size, shape, style, yet all rooms feature the luxurious cushioned comfort of Simmons HealthSmart beds.
