The origins of the house are lost in time. The existing documents concerning the house date from 1798 and confirmed that the house has always belonged to the family Homem de Ferreira. In successive generations, the house was extended and renewed, always preserving the architecture and the characteristic materials of the Beira Alta. In the year 2000, after an authorized process from the Tourism General Bureau, the actual owners started a rebuilding and refurbishing process, adjusting it to fit the requirements for Tourism in the Rural Space. The 3 star Bed & Breakfast, completely refurbished, is equipped with six ample rooms dedicated to Tourism in Rural Space.
