At the opening in 1860 this was one of the largest hotels in Sweden. Today it is one of the oldest, carefully renovated with many of the original details still intact as The Hall of Mirrors; one of the most beautiful banquet halls in Scandinavia. The restaurant Le Trottoir and the pub, The Bishop's Arms, are popular meeting places. The hotel's modern conference rooms are all equipped with technological equipment.
